Two close wins over Newport! JV won 48-42. Varsity won 45-43. Joey Jensen brought in 18 points and 8 rebounds and Will Farmer snagged 10 points and 8 rebounds.

Next up - North Creek tomorrow night.

Bothell results:

JV stayed on their winning streak, beating Bothell 67-44. Highlights:
Danny Howe: 17 points/8 rebounds. 9 out of 10 shots made.
Jameson Pastor: 13 points/3 steals
Coben Kaveny: 4 steals/7 rebounds
Owen Erickson: 6 points/7 rebounds/2 blocked shots
Brady Liddle: 2 steals/4 rebounds.

The team hit 70% of free throws (season average is 59%). Well done, JV!!!!

Varsity lost to the number one team in KingCo this year, 60-80. Bothell's four three-point shooters made them difficult to contend with.

Sam Berenson led the scoring effort with 16 points, followed by Jack Powers with 15 and Joey Jensen with 8. Blake Adams led rebounds with 7, followed by Sam with 6 and Timmy Crandall and Cam Roorda who both had 4.

C Team beat Mt Si Monday night 60 to 53 to complete the Varsity, JV and C team sweep of the Wildcats. Wyatt Bevill and Sol Hawkins each had 6 steals and the team had a season high 23 steals. ...

Two big wins at Inglemoor last night!!

Issaquah JV wins 55-50. Very close the whole game. Issaquah was down 2 with three minutes to go, but rallied to take the lead and then held off a hot shooting inglemoor team.
Danny Howe had 10 pts and 10 rebounds.
Brady Liddle and Cobin Kaveny had 12 each.

Varsity won 68-47, leading the whole way for a comfortable win. Great team play, passing, and movement by the team was an exciting development to watch.

Four players got double digit scoring led by Will Farmer with 17, followed by Sam Berensohn with 16, Jack Powers with 12 and Joey Jensen with 10. Freshman Charlie Dieteker showed outstanding hustle and defensive effort with 6 rebounds in the short time he was in. Sam led the rebounding effort with 8. All in all, a well-played game by the Eagles.

Next up - Bothell on their home court Friday night.

Issaquah Boys C-Team notched their 4th win in their last 5 games with a 65-53 win over Woodinville.
A big 3rd quarter was instrumental in securing the win, as the Issaquah Boys scored 25 points in the third.
3 double digit scoring performances including Wyatt Bevill with 18, Jack Richards 15 and sharpshooter Cody Tenace added 11.
The Boy's next game is at home, Wednesday, Jan 10th at 7:00 pm vs Mt Si. Come cheer them on!
